4 day course, teaches you all the necessary skills to be able to dive, independent of supervision, planning and making No Decompression dives to a maximum depth of 18 meter. Throughout the course you will learn the fundaments of Scuba Diving, including scuba dive equipment and techniques. Initially you will complete 5 confined water sessions, such as confined water followed by skill and knowledge reviews using video and CD-Rom aids. Later you will move into the real environment and be guided through 4 Open Water Dives to a maximum of 18 meter/60 feet.
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive an internationally recognized scuba diving certificate that allows you to dive all around the world. Take the first step to become a certified Open Water Diver in Curacao with the Professionals, W2D Divecenter Curacao.
Requirements:
- Be 10 years or older
- Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Open Water Certificaton
- Please check the health requirements for this course.
- Participants between 10-14 years of age will receive the junior certification.
- Duration of course: 4 days.
